But I thought I’d take a little time to thank (once again) the super sweet amazing and wonderful people who have taken the time to give silly and undeserving me a bit of themselves. Today, though a few people are going to scream about it, is an official piggy day off. My brain needs it. ^__^;; Though it didn’t know that until I woke up this morning. No more internets, no more drawing commissions/freelance, none of that stuff (though there will probably be lots of the watching of How I Met Your Mother, hee hee). Just me, my *own* arts, and probably lots of cleaning. Because oh good gosh my poor little house needs it.

There’s a huge trouble sometimes with working with certain people (and I say this not to generalize, but to be nonspecific), and working ‘freelance.’ It’s called payment. Or sometimes lack thereof. The only thing stopping me from going and breaking knees at this point is a passport, and the fact that I haven’t done the work yet, because they haven’t paid me on time…..

It’s called a contract, people. >:/ Let’s try to stick with it.
And I am quickly understanding the concept of ‘terminating your bad customers.’

I’m just going to blame this crazy overwhelming EMO-feeling on my being extremely tired. Yes. Because I’m not going to think about stupid things…at least not right now. XD Yeah, it’s nothing a good night’s sleep won’t fix~!!

When I was little, I was never allowed to draw like this. You know, the ‘childish’ way of drawing. Because I showed (small amount) of aptitude, I would get yelled at for having things be ‘too simple’ or ‘not good enough.’ How do you tell a child that their artwork is not good enough? =3=;; So it’s kind of cathartic to sit and do it now. *lol* (was too lazy to grab my tablet).

Because he used to raise pigs, a good friend of mine once told me that when they’re not happy/healthy that their tails will droop and not be curly. Yay random trivia.

So I’m like a total jerk and staying up really late right now trying to finish up some presents and work and stuff. Bad piggy for leaving things to the last minute~! And then one of my favorite Suneohair tunes comes on-Sora mo Isogasii. And then, outside, it started pouring rain~! ^__^;;

Odd weather aside (it was well over 100F today, and now rain? wth?), it was unexpected and neat. The type of thing that makes a silly piggy happy. I wish more people knew about Suneohair. His music is mostly really mellow, quirky and….kind of off beat. As well, he did two of the three ending theme songs for the HachiKuro (Honey and Clover) anime. Speaking of HnC, WHYYYYY can’t I find any more of James Wendt’s music? He was a vocalist from the live action movie’s OST (I’ve yet to see the live action movie or drama *sob*). OMFG I COULD MARRY THAT MAN’S VOICE ALONE FFFFLTOUGSLFDGKJ~!!!!!!!!!11@!!! But no. Nothing. No more dice. *cry*

Starla, a relatively new (though also neglected) ori-chara of mine….throwing one of her tantrums? Hmmm. I’m pretty pissed at myself for taking so long to do such a poor sketch. Methinks I will try not to stay up so long past my bed time to draw. I think………I hope? O__O;;

I almost never draw Pan like this anymore (let alone at all, poor girl). Cut ears, cut hair, cut wings….I never made it far enough into her story to explain everything and all the changes she has to go through. No worries though. It’s a really stupid story~!! What was I thinking back then? *lol* But then again, that was way before blue haired elvish angels were popular (on the webcomics scene). XD

Personally, I never really liked Pan. Her personality, I mean. She’s an idiot~!! Of course, she learns a lot and toughens up along the way, but there’s nothing really standout-ish about this ‘hero’s journey’ and that’s probably why I ultimately quit drawing Elegy. It was a really stupid story~!!

I still think about it a lot though. And now, over the years its become this giant behemoth of a story in my head; I KNOW I’ll never get it out now in a form different from random illustrations or sketches. No worries. :3 Most all of my other ’stories’ are tied into it as well, in some way or another.

Ohhh, poor Gabriel~!! You were always my favorite but……haven’t drawn you in so long I forget what you looked like~!!! *sob*
